About Smooch
A Denver-devoted label based in San Francisco.
Smooch Records was founded in 1999 for the sole purpose of promoting music from Colorado. Due to the geographic isolation of the state, music from Denver often does
not reach people outside of the mile-high region. Smooch was started by an optimistic & idealistic teenager influenced by DIY and 'support the scene' attitudes of
other record labels. Now based in San Francisco, older, less optimistic & idealistic, Smooch continues to focus on the same vision from 1999. Smooch is a label for my
friends whose music I love and wish to see reach more people.
